Vibram Trek(R) compound rubber outsole: waterproof and excellent grip and traction for walking activities. Molded TPU shank for control and stability. Nylon tape and molded ghilly for easy and precise lacing. EVA midsole for optimal shock absorption. Energy Plate(tm) for increased range of motion and optimal use of energy. Insoles made of EVA and PU absorption beans. The beans provide support and limit energy loss during walk. They help to provide greater stability and toe-off. The insoles are constructed with arch support and moisture wicking holes. Includes 2 insoles: Dorsi 0- provides a neutral position as is walking barefoot. Dorsi 2- provides the optimal degree of dorsiflexion for Nordic Walking activities.
